This is the firs time ive never not paid a fare, just l thought £14 for a useless ticket,

Do you think an expector will come?
Its an hour journey

Go to sleep or go sit in the restroom. If the inspector catches you, just pay the fee. no biggie.

Do you not have a ticket or something? if you dont, just be aware that they might come, even if you dont think they are

There is always an inspector on the Gatwick express!
But that does not take an hour?
What train are you on?

Lets hope so, why should they get away with shirking their duties, that is almost as bad as you not buying a ticket. How did you get an internet connection on the train, that is a bit sus!

maybe or maybe not. you will be expected at some point. just pay the fourteen when he comes. you really should just buy a ticket though.

$14 pound ? , even if it is an Hour Journey , wow that
is so expensive..you should keep this type of info.
to yourself .
i wonder how u went ? ...here they take it in terns to
hop on a certain line & single that out for a few weeks.

l personaly, accidentaly went out with my daughter in her
car ..whereby im used to taking the train & purchasing
an all day ticket, so that after work l do not have to bother to
buy one again as it covers me all day.
having been used to doing this, it was mothers day & we
caught up before l had to work night shift, she dropped me
of & after work l thought nothing of it, just hopped on train
like l usually do, then realised l did not purchase a ticket like
usual...because today l got a lift in...Well along came the
guards & did not give a S---t even took their ID numbers, wrote a letter , these people have seen me for years with a
ticket...were quite happy to vouch for me & give me their numbers ( the guards on / the following day) as the ones who charged me were rookies (just my luck ).but l still got charged for not having a ticket !

Quite frankly no, however stranger things have happened. At 03.40am this morning l was shunting trains at the station where l work night shifts. As an ex Gaurd, we always used to say the Inspectors do not like the dark as they seem to disappear anytime after 8pm & leave the ticket collecting to us Gaurds!

However, u should really buy a ticket still, if u had have been caught it is still a £20 fine to the next stop & the price of a single from that stop to ur destination, or a £20 fine plus £14 administration charges, Plus the ticket price on top & a referal to fraud unit. Would it have been worth it??

He probably won't. At night, Hop on without a ticket and take advantage of your free ride. They are usually just there throughout the day.

Train tickets suck. It is like the lottery. In fact, l do not know why people who are against gambling travel on trains. You buy your ticket then when no one checks it you think ''well that was a waste of a few quid''. Then when you do not buy a ticket and some fucker checks it you waste another few quid because of the fine. It is just like gambling. :-)
