Okay, so l have always heard that metrolink was going to make rail service to Palm Springs, but they do not have it yet. l was wondering if anyone knows anything more about this, and if it is really going to happen...Also, l had emailed metrolink, reccomending that route, but l have not gotten a response yet. l really think they should make that route, because people from the desert wanna go to the beach, and people from the beach wanna go to the desert. If you agree with me, you should email metrolink and tell them that, and maybe if they get enough emails, they might think about it....

It might be on the long-term planning horizon, but it wo not happen anytime soon. The next extension out your way (sort of) will be from Riverside to Perris, but last l heard that is planned for 2010 or 2011.

Yeah l know Perris is not very close to Palm Springs, but that is the best plan at this point.
